Storyline:
Shrek tells the story of an ogre named Shrek who lives a solitary life in a swamp. His peaceful existence is disrupted when fairy tale creatures are banished to his swamp by the corrupt Lord Farquaad. Determined to reclaim his home, Shrek sets off on a quest to confront Farquaad and reclaim his swamp.
