Storyline:
Monsters University is the prequel to Monsters, Inc., taking audiences back to when Mike Wazowski and James P. "Sulley" Sullivan first met. The story follows young Mike as he enters Monsters University with dreams of becoming a top scarer. From a young age, Mike has been determined to work at Monsters, Inc., and believes that studying hard will make him the best.
However, things don’t go as planned when Mike meets Sulley, a naturally talented but lazy monster from a famous family of scarers. The two become rivals, constantly clashing. Their competition spirals out of control, leading to both of them being expelled from the university's prestigious Scare Program. To get back in, Mike and Sulley are forced to team up with a group of misfit monsters in the "Scare Games," a series of challenges that test their abilities and teamwork.
Throughout the competition, Mike and Sulley learn that they need each other to succeed and that friendship and collaboration are just as important as talent and hard work.
