Storyline:
In Hotel Transylvania 2, the once-monster-exclusive Hotel Transylvania is now open to humans, thanks to Count Dracula’s daughter Mavis marrying a human, Johnny. Dracula is excited to become a grandfather when Mavis and Johnny have a baby boy named Dennis. However, Dracula is worried that Dennis hasn’t shown any signs of becoming a vampire. Concerned that Dennis might remain human, Dracula secretly tries to “train” his grandson to bring out his vampire side, fearing that Mavis and Johnny might move away to raise Dennis in the human world if he stays human.
With the help of his monster friends—Frankenstein, Wayne the werewolf, Murray the mummy, and Griffin the invisible man—Dracula takes Dennis on a fun-filled but dangerous adventure to teach him how to be a vampire. Meanwhile, Mavis explores life outside the hotel, visiting Johnny’s human family, which makes her realize that the human world isn’t as bad as she once thought. The film reaches a climactic moment when Dracula’s ancient, disapproving father, Vlad, arrives and complicates things further.
